BTS ERA GUIDE
1. No More Dream Era
The song "No More Dream" was BTS' debut song. Their concept for this era was a bunch of hip hop wannabes. They took inspiration from American rappers...but they went too far. They wore lots of gold chains and tried to look edgy. I sometimes wonder how J-Hope was able to breathe, because he always had that spikey mask on his face.
Their album for this era was called "2 Cool 4 Skool," and it consisted of 7 tracks. Their most popular songs from this album are "No More Dream," "We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2," and "좋아요" (I Like It).
STYLE
Rap Monster (Kim Namjoon)
In this era we never really got a chance to see Rap Monster's eyes. He always wore sunglasses and he also put his hair in a perm. He also had the letters "RM" shaved on the sides of his head.
Jin (Kim Seokjin)
Jin usually kept his hair down throughout this era and he had it dyed a dark brown.
Suga (Min Yoongi)
Suga almost always wore a hat in this era, so we didn't get to see much his hair, but his hair was black in this era.
J-Hope (Jung Hoseok)
When BTS would perform J-Hope would almost always wear this spikey mask that covered more than half of his face, so most people couldn't see his face. People would mostly see his fae in Bangtan Bombs.
Jimin (Park Jimin)
Jimin's hair was dyed brown in this era and it was in a Justin Bieber type of swoop style and sometimes he would wear a cap. He usually wore jerseys and Jordans.
V (Kim Taehyung)
V was the only member in this era to have his hair dyed blonde.
Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook)
Jungkook's hair was kind of spiked up in this era and in some of the concept pictures he wore this gold skeleton hand thing on his hand.
2. N.O Era
The album for this era was called "O!RUL8,2?" and the song "N.O" was the title song, it consisted of 10 tracks. Their concept was similar to the "No More Dream" era, so they still wore gold chains, but not as many. Although, they did wear more white than they did in the previous era.
Some of their most popular songs from this album are "N.O," "Coffee," and "진격의 방탄" (Attack on Bantan).
STYLE
Rap Monster (Kim Namjoon)
Rap Monster continued to wear sunglasses in this era and he also wore a white hat.
Jin (Kim Seokjin)
Jin has his hair dyed brown during this era and mostly wore it down.
Suga (Min Yoongi)
Suga had his hair dyed red in this era and it was in a kind of poofed up hair style. He usually wore a bandana during performances.
J-Hope (Jung Hoseok)
Thankfully J-Hope stopped wearing that spikey mask, so we were finally able to see his face.
